About us

A premium magazine with a South African heartbeat.

Headlinx.org is an independent digital magazine covering the celebrities, television personalities, musicians, sports stars and creators who shape South African popular culture. We combine the polish of an international entertainment title with a distinctly local voice.

Our story

We started with a simple belief: South Africans deserve entertainment journalism that celebrates local talent without cutting corners. From award-winning actors and presenters to rising amapiano artists, Springbok heroes and digital creators, our country is full of stories that deserve thoughtful telling.

Our editors write original features, profiles and interviews, and we work only with properly licensed photography. Sponsored content is always clearly labelled so that independent editorial and advertising never get confused.

Readers can enjoy selected stories for free, or join our premium membership from R49 a month for exclusive features, extended interviews and ad-free reading.

What we stand for

Editorial standards you can trust

  • Clear sourcing

We separate verified facts, attributed statements, personal opinion and speculation, and we never present rumours as established fact.

  • Respect for privacy

We handle personal information responsibly and in line with South African data protection principles, including POPIA.

  • Proudly local

Every story is rooted in South Africa: its people, languages, stages, stadiums, studios and communities.
